Planet of Evil was the first example of this. The Doctor and Sarah arrive on Zeta Minor, a planet at the edge of the universe, where all the members of an expedition from the planet Morestra have been killed save the leader Professor Sorenson, who has been experimenting on anti-matter obtained from the planet. A Morestran military expedition also arrives; the Doctor has to prove his innocence and prevent an anti-matter monster from under the planet from killing the Morestrans.
